Toyota 2000GT comes out with Tokyo Motor Show of the autumn of 1965.
The following 1966, Toyota 2000GT’s very last production type was announced at Tokyo Motor Show -not as a marketed type but as a prototype.

Toyota jointed with YAMAHA to develope on the theme of sending out a large-sized high performance GT car “Toyota 2000GT” to the world. It set up the 10,000-mile world fastest record, and other 16 world records, and stored a success as a domestic GT car of the dream.

Its engine also demonstrates 150H.P. by 6-cylinder 2l. DOHC, carries three double chalk cabs, and the maximum high speed amounts to 230km/h.
